Charity is the power of 1 but the strength of many!

ABCD exists because of the generosity of people like yourselves, people who in good times and in bad times keep their support of the Church on their list of major priorities.

Through your support of the ABCD you help our Catholic Church here in South Florida reach out to those brothers and sisters Jesus speaks about in the Gospel. ABCD is our Catholic Charities, our religious education programs, our Catholic schools. ABCD is the support of our seminarians and priests. ABCD is in our marriage preparation programs, and our lay ministries that form people to minister to the bereaved, the homebound.

We are humbled by your generosity and support of the Archbishop’s Charities and Development Drive (ABCD). Your sacrificial generosity to the ABCD truly bears witness to our faith and the essence of being an embodiment of the Church.

If you have yet to respond to this year’s ABCD, we need you! Please prayerfully consider mirroring the love of Christ by putting your faith into action by making a gift today. Even a small gift can make a big difference. You can obtain a pledge envelope from the parish office, or you can make a gift online at www.isupportabcd.org.

You may also give by texting. Text "LOUIS" to 833-336-9083, click the link and then donate.

Thank you and God bless you!

Fiesta de Nuestra Señora de ka Caridad

The Archdiocese of Miami and the National Shrine Ermita de la Caridad invite all the faithful and devotees of Our Lady of Charity to the Solemn Mass in Honor of Our Lady of Charity 2022.

"There is no Homeland without Charity" is the motto chosen for this year, a message that urges us to place God at the center of the new Cuban nation, through the help and intercession of Our Lady of Charity, the Patroness, Queen and Mother of Cuba.

The Mass will be presided by The Most Reverend Thomas Wenski, Archbishop of Miami, and will be held outdoor on Shrine’s grounds. It will open to the public at 5 PM, the Holy Rosary will be prayed at 6 PM, the parade of the Apostolic Movements at 7 PM, the procession with the image of the Our Lady at 7:30 PM, and the Solemn Mass at 8 PM.

Place: Grounds of Ermita de la Caridad

Parking will be available at Mercy Hospital garages, Vizcaya Village parking lot, and some spaces at Inmaculada-La Salle High School.

Frontline Ministry is a faith formation ministry for frontline workers such as law enforcement, military, firefighters, public safety tele-communicators, etc. led by a team of catholic public servants.

Frontline workers are the first on scene to many dangerous and demanding emergencies. Their heroic efforts are crucial to ensuring the public safety and health of our society. Despite this fulfilling work, it can be very strenuous and emotionally draining to those in the profession. These workers face many challenges in their professional lives that often bleed over into their personal lives at times.

Therefore, our goal is to provide a faith formation ministry that frontline workers can attend to grow in knowledge and understanding of our Catholic faith, ultimately guiding them to lean on God’s strength when we simply cannot overcome these difficult obstacles alone. We desire frontline workers to know their faith and live on mission for Christ in the frontlines.

Aprende a vivir nuestra fe católica.
