Dear OLOL Families,
It has been another eventful week at Jaguar Nation, filled with learning, service, and some special memories. Here's a quick recap of the week’s highlights:
- Student Council's Baby Item Collection
Our Student Council kicked off their collection of baby items this week. This initiative is a wonderful way for our students to give back to the community and support families in need. We encourage all families to contribute!
- Easter Bunny Visit
The Easter Bunny made a special appearance this week, reminding us that Easter is just around the corner. It was a great way to celebrate the upcoming season!
- 7th Grade Field Trips
Our 7th graders had an exciting week of field trips! They visited Immaculata-La Salle High School, where they had the chance to explore the school and learn about its offerings. They also visited the courthouse, providing them with a real-world understanding of how the justice system works.
- 8th Grade Holocaust Museum Trip
The 8th-grade class had a powerful field trip to the Holocaust Museum, where they received an amazing and emotional presentation from Alan Hall, a Holocaust survivor. His firsthand account left a lasting impact on all of them.
- PK3 Visit from The Little Farm
Our PK3 students enjoyed a fun and educational visit from The Little Farm. They had the chance to interact with petting farm animals and learn about farm life, which was both engaging and memorable!
- 2A First Reconciliation
Congratulations to our 2A students who celebrated their First Reconciliation this week! It was a beautiful and meaningful occasion, marking an important step in their spiritual journey. 2B will have their First Reconciliation next week.
- 5th Grade DARE Graduation
The 5th grade celebrated their DARE Graduation, which was both emotional and successful. It was a heartwarming ceremony, and we are so proud of the students for completing the program and making a commitment to stay drug-free.
- Varsity Girls Flag Football Playoffs
Exciting news – our Varsity Girls Flag Football team is heading to the playoffs on April 5th! We are incredibly proud of the team, their coach, and the supportive parents who have been with them every step of the way.
With just 39 school days left this year, let's make the most of the time remaining and finish strong!
It’s been a week full of growth, excitement, and community spirit. Thank you for your continued support in making these experiences possible for our students.
Wishing you all a wonderful rest of your weekend! God is good...#jaguarangels
