A Thank You Note from Our Seminarian

Dear parishioners,

I just wanted to take a moment to thank Mary, Mother of Our Savior parish for hosting my diaconate ordination weekend. From the Holy Hour on Friday night, to my Diaconate Ordination on Saturday, to the reception afterwards, and to my first Mass as a deacon on Sunday it all went so smooth and was very moving for me in my heart. To all of those who attended any of the celebrations on that weekend, thank you for your presence. To all those who helped to organize the weekend's celebrations, thank you. And to all of those who prayed for me during that weekend, thank you. It truly does take a whole parish family to put together such a great weekend!

In a particular way, I would like to thank the pastor, Fr. Jason Hage, for his guidance, support, advice, and execution of the weekend. All throughout the preparation leading up to my ordination weekend, he helped to execute what I envisioned. In a particular way, I also would like to thank the music ministry led by Htee Mu and all of the choir members.

The music the whole weekend, especially on Saturday for the Ordination, was so beautiful!

Praise the Lord for all that he has done in my life and for all of you who helped to form my vocation at this parish. May the Lord reward all of your efforts in the life to come.

In Christ through Mary,
Deacon Cornelius Deep
