| | Easter
May this Easter season bring you and your loved ones renewed peace, abundant joy, and the blessings of our Risen Lord. St. Gregory Golf Tournament
The St. Gregory's 31st Annual Golf Tournament will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025. Our Annual Golf Tournament is a long standing St. Gregory fundraising tradition that supports the enhancements and enrichments that our children are so blessed with at St. Gregory the Great School. Help us celebrate the importance of faith, family, and friendship by supporting this year’s Golf Tournament. We thank you in advance for your generosity. It is through the blessing of your contributions that we are able to make a difference in the lives of our children. For tickets, donation and volunteer opportunities click here.
Canvas
St. Gregory leadership is excited to announce that next school year we will be using Canvas, Learning Management System. Using Canvas will “simplify teaching and learning activities, organize coursework, and keep teachers, students, and families connected and communicating—all in one place.” Canvas will provide streamlined communication between home and school. Proceeds from the SGS Golf Tournament will go towards the training and implementation of Canvas. More information regarding Canvas will be forthcoming. Aramark Survey
Please click on the button below to complete an Aramark Survey for 2025. The survey will run for 3 weeks: March 31- April 18, 2025.
The significance of Holy Thursday
Except for the resurrection on Easter, Holy Thursday is possibly one of the most important, complex, and profound days of celebration in the Catholic Church. Holy Thursday celebrates the institution of the Eucharist as the true body and blood of Jesus Christ and the institution of the sacrament of the priesthood. Read more on the Catholic News Agency.
Good Friday
On Good Friday, Jesus’ saving Sacrifice is commemorated by the full reading of the Passion account, the veneration of the Cross, and the distribution of Holy Communion that was consecrated the day before. (My Catholic Life).
Holy Saturday with Mother Mary
Mother Mary kept vigil on Holy Saturday in prayerful anticipation of Jesus’ resurrection. She knew her Son would rise. She had hope beyond hope. Her faith was certain. Her love kept her vigilant as she awaited the return of her Son. Visit, Catholic Daily Reflections, to read more.
King of Kings
The film recounts many of the events in Jesus’ life and often directly quotes passages of Scripture. Read the review here.
