The month of October each year is dedicated to the Most Holy Rosary. It was instituted to honor the Blessed Virgin Mary in gratitude for the protection that she gives the Church in answer to the praying of the Rosary by the faithful. When we pray the rosary we see that Mary was and is still intimately joined with her son, Jesus, in all the mysteries of earthly & heavenly existence.

Commit to praying a rosary each week of this month to discover the fruits of this beautiful prayer!

Respect Life Month, observed each October, promotes the sanctity of human life from conception to natural death. Organized by the Catholic Church and pro-life groups, it features educational events, prayer services, and outreach programs to raise awareness about life issues and encourage advocacy for vulnerable populations and life-affirming choices.

• Team 1: 1:00 - 3:30 pm.
• Team 2: 3:30 - 6:00 pm.

Food and item Drop-off: Noon to 3pm.

1. Team 1: Prep toiletry bags, collect food & drink donations (20 Volunteers needed).
2. Team 2: Travel to the Miami Rescue Mission. Prep food trays & assist in the dinig room of MRM from 4:45 until 6:00 pm. (40 volunteers needed)

Donations Needed!

• Trays of pasta, ground beef/meatballs, & marinara sauce.
• Cases of water and/or soda.
• Packaged snacks (cookies, crackers, chips, etc).
• Hard boiled eggs (unpeeled in egg cartons).
• Sandwiches.
• Magazines.
• Reading glasses (available at dollar store).
• Men's clothing for the Better Way Miami Rehab Center.
• Clothing for women, children and new born.
• Household items & furniture (used to furnished small apartments or those who finish rehab & in need of a home).

In response to the devastating impact of Hurricane Milton across the state of Florida, Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Miami Inc. is establishing a dedicated donation fund to assist those affected by the hurricane.

Monetary donations can be made at Catholic Charities’ website www.ccadm.org. One hundred percent of all funds received will be directed to providing humanitarian relief and assistance to those affected by Hurricane Milton.
